Your role
CSL Behring is currently recruiting for a Commercial Packing Production Supervisor to join our team at our Broadmeadows site. This role is a full-time permanent opportunity, and the primary focus will be to provide subject matter expertise for the commercial packing process by performing daily manufacturing process operations.

Reporting to the Manufacturing Area Manager Packing and Visual Inspection, the Commercial Packing Supervisor is required to partner with the broader operations team to execute the requirements of the operations schedule in a safe, stable, GMP compliant and cost efficient manner and follow the established procedures and methods of manufacture with a focus on live process and product, to ensure the quarterly Manufacturing Schedule is met.
Your responsibilities
- Lead and supervise team activity and resource level to ensure adherence to the manufacturing schedule in a cost efficient and consistent manner
- Ensure that all manufacturing environments operate according to the principles of cGMP as required by relevant regulatory agencies and standards.
- Perform production activities so the production schedule of activities is met in a cost efficient and consistent manner
- Partner with the operations leadership team and operational services to ensure all procedures and ways of working are up to date, compliant and best practice. Tasks generally require interaction with live process and product
- Ensure that products are manufactured (product, facility and process) in accordance with approved policies, procedures or method of manufacture and regulations
- Provide timely input into investigation and closeout of manufacturing deviations and corrective and preventative actions (CAPAs)
- Partner with operational services in root cause analysis, risk assessments, change controls, squib, manufacturing assessments
Your experience
- At least 3 years experience working in a production environment
- Experience providing coaching/support to junior roles
- Experience working in a strict process focused environment
- Line leadership of teams and employees
- Superior technical skills in Manufacturing and Quality process and systems
- Experience within a pharmaceutical or allied industry involving line leadership
- Experience leading manufacturing and production operations and achieving operational targets
- Ability to critically review business plans and make recommendations
- Management of training in a production environment
