About our team
-
Security Analytics’ mission is to provide SWIFT an automated common metrics platform, and to develop relevant analytics in alignment with organizational objectives to enable the business to make risk and threat-based decisions. As a centralized cyber security reporting team within Global Security, we work with technical and business stakeholders to establish relevant metrics, build accessible datasets, and develop high quality dashboards that enable users to take action. We work to follow an “agile business analytics” approach to improve our reporting capabilities for our customers. We further provide critical cyber security metrics trending and forecasting information to Executive & Senior Leadership to ensure full understanding of SWIFT’s security posture and trigger necessary actions.

In general, our BI developers work on the end-to-end development of their reporting projects. They are expected to work with stakeholders / team members to refine the reporting requirements, manage expectations, identify data sources, develop maintainable data pipelines, create actionable and sustainable dashboards, monitor operations, address issues, support end-users, and continuously incorporate improvements to our team’s services and products.

At this time, the team is split between Brussels, Belgium (CET) and Virginia, United States (EST). We truly believe that we have the opportunity to build something great – to be the data stewards, integrators, and internal providers of security data to help manage cyber security risk.
